1st, not sure if it was to me neonsxt04, I meant a turbo inline in the exhuast does make it a little quiter, which the sxt does not have onlt the srt-4, unless its a mod. As for the cat-back yeah its a bolt up option, no other mods needed. I am partial to the pacesetter, I have had them on a few cars as well as my neon, but any cat back will work just depends on the sound you want. You can do a cat-back or a full exhuast going from the header which attaches to the motor right back to the tailpipe comming out the back

If you want to do a full exhaust you will need a header (either borla or kirk racing if you want the most performance but a pacesetter will work also) a high flow cat (magnaflow, catco, and dynomax make some damn nice ones) and then your cat back system. Then you would be set from the head to the tip and you would notice a nice increase in power. After that all you would need is an iceman CAI and a crane #12 cam with some valve springs and you would have one hella nice ride sporting enough power for most people.

damn, everything sounds great...
A nice full exhaust set-up is usually around 1000-1500 bucks isnt it?
depending on how much money i get soon, i may get that instead of just the cat-back.

Actualyl Catco cats are probably the worst cats in Altima's list. They are poorly made and have a tendancy to go bad within the first year. I changed mine twice in one year actually. Magnaflow comes ina close second IMO I've had one Magnaflow cat go bad 8 months after I installed it.

Dynomax is probably the best one IMO.

Hmm thats interesting I KNow a few people that have had both of those with no problems but Its interesting to know that. I will have to keep that in mind when I go to buy the cat for my next exhaust system.

If you went with a borla catback and a borla header you would be looking at about 1000. But If you went with a kirk racing header and just got a vibrant rear section you could get away with spending just a bit over $500. Its up to you and big your wallet is, if you have the money or have the ability to wait long enough to get the money I highly recomend getting the borla setup you would be really happy with it besides it would last forever.
