Default Hello!

Just wanted to say hello to everyone. I'm from Upstate NY and just bought my 04 SXT a few months ago... Simply love this little car, it's a blast to drive. Just a few mods since I've owned it...A cold air intake, front and rear strut tower braces, 18" inch rims, new plugs and wires... And I messed with the AIT sensor!Hoping to get lots more stuff for it in the near future.

^did you do the mod? there are a few ways to go about it, some better than others. the best so far i have seen is actually modifying/adding a relay. i dont recall exactly how it worked but it was the cleanest way and bypassed modifying the multiswitch or the need for an extra switch.

Welcome.

What do you mean by "Messed with the IAT sensor"?

Did you splice a chip onto it?

Yeah it's just that tiny resistor...
I was VERY skeptical as well until i put it in... For some reason it really woke my car up, runs alot smoother as well... Not sure if it does what it claims to do, but I'm not taking it out now cause it sure did something good? Now I gotta tackle that stumble at idle I get in traffic... Done a search on this forum and neons.org and srtforums looking for ideas. Seems there's quite a few people who have the same problem as I do ... The things I have found to look for are- a possible wire broken on the TPS connector, matbe a badIAC connector? Also a few people have claimed to drill a small hole in their butterfly to allow air in at idle... Anyone else on here have this same problem and fix it with one of these methods??? I would greatly appreciate any advise or help, because I'm not totally familiar with these cars just yet...
