Ihave a 96 Neon with a DOHC that has an oil leak somewhare in the back of the engine. Can't see where. Tried Valve cover gasket. No help! The funny thing is that the car will idle for about 2 or 3 minutes before it starts leaking then it is pretty steady. Has anyone seen this?

 

We installed a new head gasket on this car and it cleared up the leak, the gasket was junk.

Definitely The replacement head gasket was reengineered to be much stronger. The old one was all rotted out buy the water ports. Got a Felpro gasket kit at autozone for $132 special order got it the next day. Good luck
