Default Interior lights / trunk light not working.. Relay problem?

Hello,

Here are the symptoms and my guess of the problem, can anyone confirm or suggest something else?

My car is 97 neon RT.

The interior dome light and trunk light aren't working. The glove box light is working. There is a measurable but small voltage (~1 V) on the two lights that don't work. I know it's not a fuse.

When I activate the interior light switches manually, there is a loud clicking from the relay by the interior fuse box. It could be that I've just never heard the click before but my guess is that the relay is broken. If it's a shorted wire somewhere, does anyone have a suggestion of where to find a wiring diagram?

I'm ready to retire the flashlight I'm using and fix the light!

Thanks in advance,

some im not sure about all relays click but if its not a fuse and if the bulb ain't blown then im guessing it might be a short or some thing. also if it was a short u would prolly smell some thing burning or see smoke or some thing. but the cheap way in testing the relay is go to a junk yard and take one out and try it. also try to find voltage specs online so u cna test the plugs that can also tell you if you have a short or not. same with the relay, they have voltage readings to tell if they are good or not.
