Default Car bra caused fading underneath!

I seem to be a bit of an issue with my car bra that I purchased from our local dodge dealership. Who by the way are the best people around Indiana. I am a fanatic on keeping what I have clean and top notch. Well, today I took the upper and lower bra off to wash it and then wash my car real good. I noticed after haning my bra out to dry that the "neon" lettering was faded into the front of my car by the lights. I also noticed my metallic pearl ble paint fading. Someone please tell me what is going on. I take my bra off every month and wash and wax the bra area real good so what have I done wrong? I have tried Zymol, real expensive yop notch wax and my boyfriend waxed the front four times and it didn't work. What is next? If I have a body shop fix it wont it just to it again? Thanks for all the help.

Actually, the hood protector I bought from Dodge had a warning sheet with it. If it's left on and becomes wet under it, the paint can "cloud." The heat from the sun, and the moisture under it will "cloud" the paint. Don't ask my why, but Dodge knows about it or they wouldn't put the warning in the box. Mine started to cloud in the middle front of the hood. I left it off for the rest of the summer and the sun just "dried" it out. Looks fine now.

If you get a good answer as to why this happens, let us know.

All car bras do that on any car, That is why I never would get one, I just get the bug shields to deflect rocks and bugs.

Even if they say they "breath" they will still mess up the paint over time. I've used bug deflectors on my trucks, they work better at higher speed.
