ok i have a couple of problems with my car, one thing is that my car was over heating, im thinking that the fan is not turning on, i have bought a new thermostat and antifreeze to flush out my system tomorrow, so i was wondering if any one know why is not turning on, another thing is that i dont know if i hear maby a bad rocker or maby a spun baring or something, i hear some type of knocking or like some bolts in a can, what do u guys think, thanx

ok today i checked out the termostat and man, i guess he last owner never changed the thing, thing was broken in pieces in the head, but i got it out, now my problem is the knocking weird sound, when the car idles it goes away sometimes or when giving gas, sounds funny, some tpe of noise like some rattling in the motor or something, idles smooth and starts fine, any one know why is it doing that?

 

could be a bad bearing or maybe some piston slap
