engine swap question
I have just completed an engine swap on a 95 neon with a 2.0 sohc. last engine had a blown head gasket, and this motor was cheaper than head and head set
This new engine ran in last car, so I know it is good. I am **** retentive about marking every wire and bolt, so all is properly back in place, timing is spot on, I have spark, and good pressure in the fuel rail. The car turns over but will not start. Autozones site says you must hook up a scannner and set it to "relearn camshaft/crankshaft". My question is this:
Since my scanner only reads error codes, is there ANY work around for this, or am I stuck shelling out for a new scanner?
