I have a 1998 Chrysler Neon with 68000 right now. Apart from the head gasket it's been pretty good so far. I'm quite impressed to hear about neon's lasting 200000 miles on original engines....

Since I started this thread my 04 sxt now has 67 thousand miles on her! No problems so far so good! My 96 rebuilt motor and turbo installed after the rebuilt she had 19 thousand now after the rebuilt 20 grand miles! My sxt and my 96 are my project rides and redoing them both!

about 113,000 miles dont know im not driving it now cause im in iraq my wife has it now. . .if its up to her it will be dead before i get back.

i have 1 95 sport sohc 5 spd. with 165k, i broke it in for about 1500-2000 miles the rest was ***** to the wall. no engine trouble at all just 4 clutches, 5 set of brakes pads front and rear( no drums in the rear for me), countless tires. still running strong but want to go faster so we're dropping in a prepped 2.4l dohc
