I have a 95 dodge Neon that I bought in july from a friend to fix up and sell for a profit. Thing is very clean with no rust and fully under coated underbody. Has 144,000 miles on it. Just installed new head, water pump, timing belt and all new gaskets.

279K on my 00... original motor original trans... 3rd owner.. last owner ran it to the ground highcentered on something which kinked the fuel like killed the fuel pump.. and to add to it he drove with very very bad tires one spare that killed the front hub.... totally stank inside

it had 150 then.. i fixed it up and cleaned it out...

DODGE CARS ARE GREAT!!!! wish i still had my 96 intrepid

I have a 2002 with 124,335. Wife bought it in 2003, wrecked it the same day. Had it fixed, replaced the transmission in 04 or 05. Been good since then.

So...now I have a green 95 5sp SOHC that went to about 215,000 and final retired...too beat and it was a 4-lug highline and I finally learned to not like it. It's in my garage but I keep stealing parts off of it.

205,000 Black 95 5 speed SOHC sport neon that I like pretty well. It has an engine that was last rebuilt 70,000 miles ago but has been in this car for about 45,000. have changed between 3.55 and 3.94 ratio a couple times. Depends on what I'm feeling like I need more...Subaru-taunting performance or better gas mileage. Wife is driving on here commute now.

125,000 Red 97 Auto SOHC Sport Coupe. I am having back problems and so finally adopted one of the "evil" children. Swore I'd never drive an auto neon. But I was surprised I'm getting about 33 or 34 MPG, performs better than I remember the couple others I've been in and it's very quiet and comfortable. (Any of you ever hear my recording of the Green neon with Flowmaster 80 Series dual port exhaust a few years back?)

Certainly Neon's are not my favorite car. But for my 150 mile-a-day commute they sure are my favorite.
