I had 293,000 on my 2003 Neon, and it was still top notch. Then a Tree decided to take a nap on it and crushed the roof. Could not repair without lots of $$$$.

 

164k on a 2005 SXT that I just picked up from the police impound auction. the car was full of trash but cleaned up very nicely. actually shocking how clean it turned out to be. could have been proudly displayed on any car lot.

 

on my 97 it reads 145524 but hasn't worked in a while bc speedometer don't work.On 95 neon it reads 169457 but I think sumone has swapped clusters.

Mine currently has 249K. Original tranny and engine, just about everything else is new or rebuilt. The factory timing case JUST busted last week while we were installing motor mounts (Tate Boys didn't put them in properly and won't fix because they recorded the mileage wrong). While cleaning, discovered that I've had a cracked exhaust valve for over 2 years when it overheated due to the bottom radiator hose. TWO. YEARS. ON A CRACKED VALVE. I love my Gremlin! <3

I just bought a 2005 sxt and it has 85000 miles. Lately it has been getting very loud and code 0304 is now showing. Is this common?
Already replaced plugs and wires. Was good a couple months but now very loud and shaky at high speeds.

 

Does it have blue or black smoke?? Have you check the filters?
