How many miles do you have on your neons
114,000 miles on '98 R/T. Lets see, blew syncros around 40,000, put in a sport trans and now get 40 mpg over about 28 mpg before. Learned that one should use the clutch at least a little when power shifting.
Leaky head gasket at 65,000 (oil from bet. the deck face, TSB, fixed cheaply by dealer, out of warranty) along with timing belt change since it was apart. Battery once, rotors once, pads twice, and forth set of tires. More tires if you count the DOT race tires for auto X. The air doesn't work any more and rear pass. door won't unlock.
Driven hard regularly, and has seen the ignition cut off at 7200 rpm more times than I care to count (it comes back on as rpm drops, if others don't know). No complaints. It has always fired right up even in well below freezing temps.
