HIgh Idle W/ AC or defroster ONLY
Guys,
I am glad I found this wonderful site..... There seems to be very intelligent folks here, so I hope to figure out problem out through the help of you guys.....
I have a 2000 Neon w/ a 2.0 SOHC. I replaced the 00 engine w/ a '06 SOHC last summer. Car ran perfect since then, until a few weeks ago. With the AC or defrost ON, the idle will raise to around 3500 or so. I have NO CEL or codes........ I replaced the Idle Air Control Valve, TPS, Mass Air, Crank Sensor, MAP Sensor, and Computer. I have searched for vaccum leaks over and over again.......... I am about ready to roll this thing in the river! I have been pulling my hair out for 6 weeks. Any and all help is GREATLY appreciated!
