My girlfriends car broke down on her, the timing belt broke and they think the valves might be bent, anyway to check without taking stuff off? and also whats the cheapest way to fix this? its got 80,000 miles

only way to check if there are bent valves is to either take the head off or replace the timing belt and then do a compression test....
most likely it does have bent valves
