i have a 97 neon base modle and i was going down the free way and i think the timing chain slipped and the pistons hit the top of the heads what kinda of damage could this all have caused? i am not a the greatest car mechanic to be honest i dont know much at all but all info is greatly apretiated!!

 

if the timing belt broke then you probally have a few bent valves

 

so how much are new valves going to cose aprox. or should i go with something diff than stock and while i have the car all apart what else should i do? change?

 

im not sure how much the valves would cost....but while your at it, thange the water pump, timing belt, and idler pulley(s)
