this is gonna sound pretty wierd.... a loooong time ago i swear i saw a comercial for this mp3/(possibly cd) player that goes in your car, and then you can hook something to your computer i guess, and you can pull in your garage or whatever and connect with your computer and switch mp3s to this device in your car..... everyone i ask thinks im crazy but i swear i didnt dream this one up, i wasnt interested at the time but now im kinda curious. anyone have a clue? thanks!

i know that a lot of portable mp3 players can hook into aftermarket stereos through aux jacks in the back, u would just plug the mp3 player in when u want to play, as far as my stereo I can put mp3's on a cd (kinda like burning a cd but no converting to cd format) and my stereo recognizes them. just my .02 cents

Yeah there is such a thing, check Crutchfield. The cheaper way is to just buy an MP3 player and a headphones to RCA adapter, connect the RCAs to the input of your head unit (you will need a head unit with inputs), and your set to go. Thats that cheaper way, you will have a wire coming out somewhere to connect to the MP3 player.

i bought a cd player that plays cd-r, cd-rw, and mp3's so all i have to do is burn an mp3 cd and play it.... no wires to get in the way

I play mp3 cds on my aftermarket head unit, one cd can hold 300 songs. If you have a mp3 player you can get a plug and if your head unit has the plug in then u can just plug it in and play what ever songs that are on your mp3 player. They also cell a device you plug into your mp3 player and set your radio to a certin station and it will play right off that station in your car. If that what your askin about..
