Default tranny rebuild

I have a 99 automatic that needs a rebuild. Im going to get the performance rebuild from howell is there anything else that is suggested. I dont want to put gears in till later because im saving to move but i do need a transmission rebuild b4 i can move. How much is a rebuild normally? any help is greatly appreciated. thanx

Well, you can do a valve body, transfer gears and a limited slip diff.

If you are doing a performace rebuild plan on getting a high stall torque converter as well.

As for how much. Depends. Are you doing it yourself or paying to have it done?

If you do it yourself it cost the parts and the time to do it. If youa re paying to do it don't plan on buying the parts because most shops won't touvch it if you supply the parts. You can suggest to them what you want and see if they'll do it.

If a shop does it expect it to be anywhere between $1500 and $4K to do a rebuild.
