do you have to changethe cv axles when doing a auto manual swap??ive heard from some people say you do and other people say you dont, i need help,please.

 

you will need to swap out the passenger side axel....
the drivers side is the same for both auto and manual...
the passenger side axel for an auto has a longer shaft that slides into the tranny, this is because of how the speed sensor works (on a manual, the speed sensor has a separate gear to ride on, though on an auto the speed sensors gets its reading from the passenger side axel)

 

If you want a checp upgrade, you could get the driver's side axle from a 2.2L or 3.3L. Hear they hold some serious power (11's +)
