It only happens mabe 2 or 3 times a week but when I shift gears normally from 2nd to 3rd the back of the car makes a quick pop. When I had the stock bumper I thought if was my muffler hitting the bumper but with the new bumper I havent put the exhaust back on yet so Im riding with the stock exhaust and its still doing it...any suggestions?

When I had the stock exhaust, it never did that. Now I have a new exhaust system (Pacesetter catback, Pacesetter header) and now it makes a quick pop. It normally pops when I change gears from 3rd to 4th. It sounds like something is falling in the trunk but, I think I can feel it in the exhaust. The reason I say I can feel it in the exhaust is b/c it feels like I loose a tiny bit of power (like it hesitates). It only does it like once a month; if not once a month, it has to be more than that. I was just driving and it happened. Now I am beginning to think it was a backfire.
Doesn't bother me at all
