Hey, I am new to the site! I have a 1996 Dodge Neon that I have owned for about 2 months. When I first got it, it ran well. But after about 3 weeks it started stutturing and jerking, and the Check Engine light has came on. I checked the computer on it and it said a Heater Circuit Sensor, but everyone I have talked to said that would not cause the engine to do that. Well, I have been driving it to work, because it is all I have to drive. For about 2 weeks it has been doing okay, but today it Cut off on me 8-10 times on the way home today, I had to get it home. Every time it cut off, I had to take the Battery terminal off for a few minutes to get it to start. It is blowing out Black smoke. Some say it is burning rich,I dont know. PLEASE let me know what you think could possibly be wrong, THANKS!!!
