ok well... since i got my other problem fixed this new one bugs me badly... ill be driving along and my gauges just stop working.. does anyone know why this is happening and how can i fix it?

 

Do you know how to solder? Do you own a soldering iron and some solder?

If so, pull the dash apart. You are oging ot need to get to the back of the guages and on the board you will see traces. YOu are going to need to reflow the traces.



The areas in the yellow circles are waht you are going to need to reflow. Be careful though, don't use too much solder that everything runs together or you'll have problems and don't press too hard ont he board to knock the pins out because again, you will ahve problems.

 

Ah yes, the old neon disappearing signal problem. Careful not to heat the board to much too. ANd get a solder sucker to clean out the connections as well before resoldering.

 

well i took the gauges out and put new ones in they work great i love my neon!
