well i was wasnt the windows today,listening to my music,when i was done i turned the car on,it started briefly then died(no water in the engine or anything)so i started it up again and put alittle pressure on the gas pedal,then put it in reverse,and it started hoping kinda like people that cant drive stick shift,but not as bad,then put it in drive and almost died again,then i started moving forward,it started to hop again,and it also felt like i was pushing on the gas,but i was,it felt like it had alil get up in it,but my foot was off the pedal,basicly it was moving as if i had minimal pressure on the gas pedal,then i got to a stop sign bout 50 ft away,and put on the brakes,but i felt more resistance then usual,these are new brakes and calipers.i replaced the idle air control valve awhile back when it was just pulsating when i was stoped,but now its like it wants to die........any suggestions?????

If it is pulsating when you come to a stop and wants to die out it may be that your torque converter clutch is not disengaging. Thus more bakes needed as your engine is still connected to the wheels. As such as you stop the wheels your engine stops too. Probably time to take it to a shop and have it watched with a proper scan tool that can give you feed back of engine components, clutch postion etc.

 

its an auto,and i took it to the shop,had it diagnostics test on it,they hooked it up to the comp and found no errors.they offered to clean my throttle body and some sensor,the pulls out when u accelorate to mix air/furl(i think) they said that might be why its pulsating bc of build up,so i called my bro he said it was a possiblity so i did that,and it dulled the pulsating awhile but its coming back,it did the when i replaced my iac too,so im still clueless,it could be another sensor but i dont have a clue
