Hey I was wondering if you can put rear disc brakes on a neon es and if so how expensive is at and can it be done on your own?

yeah you can do a rear disc conversion. you need the srt-4 hub/knuckle asembly, caliper, brake line to do it. cheap from a junk yard.

 

Or you can use the rear brakes from a Neon R/T, 2nd Gen Neon w/ rear discs, 1st Gen Neon w/ rear discs, or the PT Cruiser.

 

yes. my fault. its just that so many people want to know if srt parts swap into the non turbos that im stuck in that mode.

If you have a first gen your not going to see any benefit from going to rear discs, other than better looks and easyer maintenance. Of couse im talking about the first gen rears, no idea if the others are better.

personallyi just broke one of my rear spindles going off the track in to a ditch. so i have a drivers side if your what to buy it cheap

 

and if u get a wrecked rt neon (2nd gen) they r the same spindles asthesrt spindles just fyi

 

Any neon with rear disc will swap over. 1G or 2G.
