I may end up needing some parts if I keep this 98 R/T I am trying to sell for a buddy. If I hang onto this car, I will just end up daily driving it, but this car has so much more potential than that...

i bet your losing coolant from a blow head gaskit......a couple of easy fixes and you would have a nice car.
