have you guys ever raced other neons? I mean obviesly everyone has beatin a civic once. i raced a few 1 gens. some loss some wins. My closest race was against a silver neon just like mine. same year and everyhting. At the time all i had was a cai. and muffler. we went at 30 mph. we were next to each other for about a 1/4 mile or so. i asked him what he had an i think he said a full monza exhuast or sumthing. not sure but it sounded nice. He went again at the light and he burned me. he had a manual and droped it. he pulled past me in 1st so i had no chance catching up. I also raced a black rt. i think it was stock other then his blue underglow but ig ot him at a light and got him off the line then when i hit 3 gear he begun to pull nxt to me at this time i had to slow down cuz of a car in front of me. i think i would of had him. i no he had 150 hp if it was the rt but i had him off the line. anyway im out

 

The ones I like beating on are the expensive Euros like the M3's. Sure they talk alot of shi* when I first show up. Cocky little brats that drive mommy's or daddy's car at the track. But after I blow by them on the front striaght aways, they have this look [sm=jawdrop.gif]. I never get sick of it! [sm=owned.gif]

 

from your guys experiance what does a 1st gen neon compair to a 92-95 civic ex/si like with same general mods cai header whatnot.

ive never had the chance to race a civic just a fullsize ram sport and a friends sub station wagon lol

 

i raced a hummer h2 tonight lol. i thought they were faster! we were neck and neck till we slowed down at about 65. lol

there big but preety quick. it had an sweet exhaust lol. my friend has one and it was fast for a truck. I dont like them anyway.

 

I have raced both the ex(B16 SOHC VTEC) and the SI(B16 DOHC VTEC) you should beat a an ex without any major mods but the SI is pretty quick, but it cant hang with a 75 shot of NOS [sm=nxsmile.gif]
