Hey guys, I just purchased a 99 dodge neon for a D.D. car so i could park my mustang and I have been looking at the different performance options that people go with for these cars. I'm totally lost. I would like to get a 2.4 DOHC and put in there b/c of the torque it puts out b/c i know i'm gonna have a hard time not feeling the v8 style torque ya know. But my car also has a auto and I would like to swap a 5 speed in there if for nothing else just the MPG.I've looked on you tube and etc etc and See that the 2.4 swap is very common but most people tack the str on there so i'm thinking the turbo srt4 motor. But I'm intoat least for my D.D. car some cams and maybe higher CR. so maybe around 11:1.

Any ideas you guys. If you know where to find some info on either the motor or the tranny swap I would apriciate it b/c i looked in the search funtion and found two links for the "2.4 Liter swap" and didn't find anything but arguing lol.
