That's a Chill Factory SOHC manifold.

They don't make them to fit stock manifolds because the stock manifold isn't designed to support a turbo.

A turbo is not an off the shelf random part. Its a performance part and needs performance compnents to even work.

OK, here it goes. The SRT-4's turbocharger and exhaust manifold is one single piece and it is not a T3/T4 turbo, it is a smaller quicker spooling turbo. There is no way to seperate the two since they are one single piece.

You will need to upgrade several other parts to properly run a turbocharger, fuel pump, injectors, boost controller, etc. Your biggest concern will be the increase in compression, you can only run a few pounds of boost on a stock 2.0L, running at the SRT-4's boost levels (14-15psi) will blow the motor. You would be far better off buying a turbo kit that is built for your 2.0L, then trying to retrofit an SRT-4 turbo on it.

The Stage 2 upgrade doesn't replace the turbo or the intercooler, so how is it that he can sell them just because he got the Stage 2 upgrade?

71RR has it right. The cold side of the turbo is one piece, but the hot side is cast into the manifold... and I had to do a crapload of stuff in conjunction with it to make it run, don't expect to bolt on and go.... I had to:

bolt up mani/turbo
run new coolant/oil lines for the turbo *SRT doesn't fit*
custom-make exhaust.
custon-make IC piping to my sidemount IC
bigger injectors
bigger fuel pump
fuel pressure regulator
buid Overboost eliminator
run new fuel lines from rail to regulator and back to tank
plumb fuel return into tank

I know there's more, i'm just too tired to remember.

dame thats alot of work. Im not sure why he was getting rid of the intercooler and everything unless he was getting a bigger one. Dont ask me i dont no the guy, all i new was he wanted 450 for eveyhting and an extra 150 for the intercooler. Its probley gone now anyway but if was easy to do id find on quick anyhow. So the only good way out is the chill factory. thats like 3,000. Thats a big DENT in the wallet.

Tahnks 71RR, I had no idea that the SRT was a cast piece. I was just trying to help him out. Didn't actually know how the SRT turbo was setup.

I was going off of my experience with my setup and I've had to buy a bunch of parts myself. Fuel line, regulators, boost controller, fuel rail, injectors...all of it.

Yep, I'm right there with you nick. It would be too much work for me to try and use the SRT turbo setup, I however probably will use some of its components.

I think its easier to build your own kit anyway. More fun that way.

GroundControl, you should look into piecing together your own kit. It's a lot of fun and you learn quite a bit more when researching things instead of buying a kit.

I think anyone thinking about going turbo should read Maximum Boost by Corky Bell before they do anything. Its a very good book and you will learn alot.
