"Yeah they are neon's, but very quick and respectable cars in the street racing world, in my area at least. There are many kids that get there hand on them due to the price of the vehicles. When kids get a hold of them they can be ignorant and rude and ruin the reputaion of the car. When modded correctly with a down to earth owner, they can run with many many cars. Mine (the black one) raced a new C6 Z06 from 45-135 and I wan by 1 1/2 car lengths. My buddies (silver one) ran a SS camaro with headers and exhaust, tune, 150shot, dyno'd 450+ whp and my buddies neon tied 1st race and won the 2nd race. I have videos of my buddy and the SS. The stock head and block is rated at 500hp, oil system at about 435, and internals at about 450. Thats one bad *** motor for 4 cylinder. Considering all you have to do to reach 400+whp is a bolt on turbo kit and fuels mods. They take nitrous very well also, I had methanol injection, a wet 75 shot, and stock turbo on 20psi and dyno's 428whp and 509wtq......................."

Really makes me want to do a 2.4L swap on a 1G. Considering they drop in as 12 sec cars, they would do low 11's plus with little done to them. Wanna go chase some bikes?
