I have a 04 sxt neon (87.000 miles)that will not start. had started tested as well as battery and alternator are all fine!. Lights, ac, and radio turn on but the car will not start not even a attempt to turn over or anything. It will not give off any codes on the odometer it just goes directly to done then ------- appears. the engine sign blinks and oil light on. but oil level is great. Oil was changed a few months ago could probulay do it again its getting kinda dirty. But level is perfect. We have no clue what is wrong with this car. Has anyone had any experence like this before or know someone that has or just has a clue what happened. Ive been reading up and friends have told us could be ignition switch, computer went out, or sludge oil in the engine. Dodge dealership told us not to spend the money on a new ignition till we get it checked out. anyways if you have any adivce or tips i am very open to hear thank you!

 

1.Check for spark.

2.Make sure ALL ground wires are connected and secure.

3. Check the ground wire to the starter. If that is not connected, it will not turn the flywheel.

 

man also check your starter fuse because that kinda sounds like what it is....check all your fuses inside and out...GL

 

If you drive a manual it could be the switch on you clutch
