i have a 00 neon 2.0L. the engine turns on fine. in idle the engine is ok. but as i accelerate...when i reach 50mph the engine begins to shake until i pass 60mph, it specially shakes more if im going up hill. now i figured it could be it needs an alignment or balance or something relating to the steering. but when im between 50-60 and let off of the gas the car rolls smooth until i accelerate again and pass 60mph. plz let me know if anyone has an idea what the problem could be.

ps. - i just did the oil change, spark plug change and cables too. and still does the same thing. plz help...

 

Does it make any kind of sqeaking noises?

i once had a similar problem and i found out that my wheel studs were weak and needed replacement. but i doubt it is the same thing you have.

 

no i hear no sound other than the feeling of the engine shaking..

 

I would balance ur tires first in hope of that being whats wrong.
