Default Turbo on Dodge Neon 00

Does anyone know if 5psi would be handled on a dodge neon 2000 stock engine, do i need to do any work, and can i fit an turbo manifold from the srt 4. What kind of work do i need to do to go turbo but very small not too big.

five is fine, 8 psi u can accually do saftly... as for the manifold u will need an adapter plate to get it to work, they are out there but they are about 200 dollars.....

well u will need alot of other stuff, not just a turbo manifold and turbo,

oil lines, return and pressure
intercooler
blow off valve
return line from fuel pump
rising rate fuel pressure reg
exc exc...

Thank you for replying dtjackten, now my other question is, will it be ok if the car already has over 82000 miles to be doing the turbo on the car. And is it possible to give me a list of parts or things that i will need to do if i do decide to do turbo on my car.

check this site for all the needed parts for a good turbo set up, as for ur milage u should be fine, just remember that the turbo WILL were out ur internals faster than N/A.... and it is not a cheap process or sometimes not an easy project either....good luck and if u have any other questions let us know...
