My best friend who is very ill has a 2002 dodge neon with a transmission problem. She is very ill and cannot be without a car so I am doing my best to help fix her car but I lack transmission repair knowledge. Please help me I am desperate. The transmission shifts to reverse, park, neutral, and drive no problem but won't shift past first gear. I replaced the vehicle speed sensors (in/out) but that didn't fix problem. I did a diagnostic scan today and got error codes P0700 Transmission Control System Malfunction and P0750 Shift Solenoid A Malfunction. Can anyone tell me what parts need to be replaced to correct these problems, and possibly a diagram of where parts located?
