I've got a 96 Neon that has suddenly developed a noise in the transmission. It sounds a lot like a slight rod knock and occurs in all forward gears as well as Park and neutral. It doesn't make a sound in reverse. It seems to clear up as the rpm's increase. It's shifting fine but needless to say this can only get worse. The fluid has only been in the vehicle for about 60 days as the transmission was replaced then with a bone yard tranny and yes I used ATF+4. Any ideas. Thanks
