Alright I am planning on replacing my Headgasket and so far i have acquired this things that i must replace too because my car has 95k on it .
Unorthodox UDP (which type?)
Crane cam (which number is best, or which cam brand is best)
Replacement Water pump and gasket (which is best if OEM one sucks)
Thermostat and Gasket(same as above)
New set of Headbolts(same as above)
Dealership MLS Headgasket kit (unless i can get kit elsewhere)
exaust bolts and gasket (I dunno if SOHC's have exhaust gaskets)
AEM tru-time cam gear (necessary since its sohc?)
replace mounts with Deyeme mounts (front firm, flex sides)
I don't know if mine has a bobble strut since it is an ATX.

Am i forgetting anything here? because i want to do as much preventative maintenance and performace mods as i can while i have everything off. Do i need any special chemical to clean the piston heads and valves or will just a rag work? What other cleaning stuff should I do? Thanks for any responses.

RE: Headgasket replacement, what else should go?
Unorthodox UDP (which type?) I believe that there is only one unorthodox, there are other brands.
Crane cam (which number is best, or which cam brand is best)Depends on how far you are planning on going with the car, #12 is good, #14 is a little more aggresive.
Replacement Water pump and gasket (which is best if OEM one sucks)OEM should be fine, but while your there do the timing belt.
Thermostat and Gasket(same as above)Could go with a lower temp one if you want, stock is 185 or 195, I forget
New set of Headbolts(same as above)Again stock should be fine, Modern Performance has aftermarket bolts.
Dealership MLS Headgasket kit (unless i can get kit elsewhere) Autozone or an auto parts store should have it, the dealer will be more expensive.
exaust bolts and gasket (I dunno if SOHC's have exhaust gaskets)No reason to replace them if nothing is leaking, broken and your not replacing the exhuast.
AEM tru-time cam gear (necessary since its sohc?) Not necessary, but it is lightened
replace mounts with Deyeme mounts (front firm, flex sides)Motor mounts? Again depending on how far you are gonna go, I have the solid mounts on my car, there is a bit more vibration, but wheel hop is a lot less. I would do at least Prothane inserts.
I don't know if mine has a bobble strut since it is an ATX. Pretty sure it does. Again not needed, but a solid one will help with wheel hop. I have the solid one on my car, vibration is more

I would have the head surfaced, its $35-$50. ON the any other mods you should do: A turbo, Ignition system, fuel managment system, NOS, 65mm throttle body, cold air intake, lightened flywheel, new valve body for the trans, suspension. There is a million things to do. check out modern performance.com
