ok they are saying tomorrow is gonna be close to 60 so i figured i would try to put my new dash speakers in.... i was gonna wait till spring but since its gonna be nice i can't wait no more.... i just got one question tho... the passenger side dash just pops up but the drivers side has bolts around the guage pod how do i get to them without breaking any thing?? i figured i have to take the panels off below the steering colum and go up with the socket that way but i wasn't to sure... any one know or have a site that explains it ??

 

On my 98, the top of the dash where the gauge pod suround is just pulls up, there are 2 clips, one on either side of the gauge pod.

alright im a little pissed right now cuz these speakers i got off ebay for my dash don't fit.... i spent about an hour taking my dash off only to find out that the speakers i bought don't fit because dodge made the dash ones smaller then the specs they give....... i don't know why but they did..... the old ones that are in the are smaller then the 3 1/2 that i bought....... so right now im mad that i wasted this money so can any one give me an answer on the correct size or why they don't fit ??

 

I think the dash speakers are 2 1/4, I believe. Is it that they are too wide or too deep?

 

i was checking multiple sites and they all said 3 1/2 i never even seen any thing about 2 1/4............ i didn't even know they sell that size.....
