Cylindar Misfire
Well, I bought new plugs and wires earlier right when I fixed the engine, because when I pulled the old ones they were toast. Corrosion out the wazzoo and carbon on them like a mother. So I replaced the plugs, put the wires on - in the right order. So I guess I am left with engine problems. What is strange is it takes like 2 - 3 days for the S.E.S. light to come on, so it is like it only happens once and a while.
Thanks for all the help, but I think it is time to check the engine.

Yeah check codes and see what hey say. That may lead you in a positive direction. If you get them let us know and hopefully suggest a decent course of action. Does it run any better? If you have a buddy with a similar neon try changing coil too. Just a coupla bolts(4), 4 spark plug wires, and a connector.
