Hey everyone, I'm very new to this whole forum thing, so please forgive me if I've done something wrong. I own a 2000 Dodge Neon. It has been making a pinging noise for a while now. My father in law is a mechanic, he drove the car, and said he couldn't hear it, but he thought a transmission flush would help it out. We've flushed the transmission and it's still pinging. We've tried switching to a higher octane level of gas, but it still makes the pinging noise. Does anyone have any idea what it could be?? Please??
