i was just wondering if the engine out of a 96 plymouth voyager is the same thing as a srt engine since it is a 2.4 engine. i noticed this today when i was looking for the intake tube for the 3.0 cai setup for my neon.if this is the same motor am i able to use in my 95 neon just as if i was doing the 2.4 swap out of a newer engine thx for any info.ok being that i work at advanced auto parts i did some research and found that depending on the cast number on the heads its pretty much the same thing as an 06 pt cruiser 2.4 engine same setup. other than that i haven't found out much more still looking into this.well looking further into this of course it is very different according to parts needed.all listing on parts are different other than cylinder head depending on cast number so that sucks.any other info i find out i will update.

 

Best to use a 2.4L engine from a 95-99 dodge. Have larger exhaust valves and ports than the newer models.
