Where did the name "bobble" come from. I always see it as something else?

 

ya know, ive been wondering that as well. ever since i got into modding neons, ive always heard it called the bobble strut.. and the first time i saw someone call it by one of its other names, the torque strut.. i was like "whats a torque strut?" hehe.

hrm. i should ask around one day and find out..

 

Yeah that's what they call it in the repair manual, a "torque strut."

 

Its just a name.
