Default P-flow air intake

Just to make sure i understand. The goal of a P-Flow system is to bring the most possible air to the intake with a filter to protect from dust. That's correct ??? Because if i remove the plastic part passing over the spark plugs and that is fixed to the filter cover, i obtain something similar to a P-Flow.

p-flow??

not only do you want to bring as much air to the filter as possible, but you want that air to be as low as possible in temperature. this is why removing the stock snorkel doesnt really help all too much.. sure it makes it easier for the engine to suck in air (only a tiny tiny bit easier really, that snorkel isnt very restrictive) but its sucking in REALLY HOT air from around the exhaust manifold area.. which basically defeats the purpose of making any change to the intake setup.
