I know this is a repost but I can't find the other thred. I know someone said that hooking it up to your ciggarette lighter will work but the cigarette lighter works when the key is off so won't the gauges always be on. I'm trying to look for a place that isn't in the mess of wires under the steering column, I'm looking for a place that can be hooked up to the fuse box.

If I can find pics of mine I'll post them for you....my friend wired it into my fuse box.

That would be great, was it any specific spot or just the fuse box???

The defrost switch has an ignition switched power supply as well as a dimmer supply, if your gauges have lights.
