2000 neon will not crank

Default 2000 neon will not crank

hi, everyone new to this site, great site,

i have a 2000 neon, it would start but only 2 cilenders
tried changing coil same thing , the garage said it was the computer,
changed it, then work on all cillenders for 10 seconds or so then died.
now it wont crank, put the old computer back and she would crank again.
very confused, any help would be aprecated . CHEERS"

do you have a check engine light?

It could be something in the wiring, I am assuming you changed the spark plugs and wires if you have changed the coil.

there is no check engine light,

just wondering if the computer has to have the same number as the original for it to work?

no i didnt change the plug wires but that wouldnt prevent her from cranking would it, not sure of that, any suggestions is appreciated.

No I was referring to it only firing on two cylinders. Usually if it won't crank it is a starter, starter relay, battery cable, ignition cylinder, or bad electrical connection somewhere between the key and starter.
