Car: Dodge Neon 2005 SXT

1. What's the difference between shocks and struts?
2. Is it as simple as taking the wheel off, removing the right number of nuts, taking the old part out, putting the new one in, and then the nuts back on?
3. should I replace the spring too?
4. should I aim for soft shocks or hard shocks?
5. Where should I buy

2. yes, but just because it sounds easy does not mean it is.
3. No, it is very rare to need to replace a spring unless the car is very old
4. If all you want is a more OEM ride go for OEM replacements
5. Is personal preferrence (remember you usually get what you pay for and sometimes it is worth an extra 5-10 bucks for customer service)
6. You will need a rubber or plastic hammer the bolts are pressed into place (take off the nut then tap the bolt straight out with the hammer. If you try to twist the bolt out it will ruin the bolt.)

Is there a specific brand of...lowering ( parts) you would recommend?
I wanna bring the neon down from factory, her *** is too high in the air for my liking

from my research, i heard Eibachs suck for the neon and heard good things about mopar high rates and koni's

Eibach's are great for Neons.

If you are going for lowering springs, you WILL need to buy new struts as well. I recommend Tokico blues and Eibach springs.
