The rims I wanna get only come in 20 X 8.5 and 20 X 10. Can they fit on my neon? What is the rim size limit of a neon? If they can't fit is there something I can have installed to make them fit? (i'm sorry but i must have these rims on my car..lol google ruff racing r943)

 

lol no way man, i have 16's which rub when i turn, the sidewall is 50 rubber on them and a lower profile is around 30-35 so i could fit bigger but i got them used for 400 with the tires. Im not sure about inches but my tires and 225 and im getting 205, again i bought them used and the idiot had the front ones wider.

 

unless they made some kind of a elastic band tire, probably not, you would need something like a 205/25r20 which i dont think theres anything like that, it would be impossible to install. plus if their was a way, the ride on your car would suck. use to own a Cobalt SS with 225/40r18 and they sucked. I actually liked my 215/55r16 winter tires i had on the car, ride was way better and if the road was uneven the 18s would pull the car left or right.... our roads are sh*ty here in Alberta.

Yeah you can Im lookin into putting 19s or 20s on mine soon and some bc coilovers. Just have to put spacers on the wheels.

 

Alvin anything is possible as long as you have time and a lot of $$$ for custom body work. 20x8.5 is a bit much and the 20x 10's are totally out of the question. You could look into redoing your wheel wells, with a "tub" style, and the use of air bags. Plus you would need to modify your fender by either adding a fender flares. I currently have 19 x 8's on my car and I had to do a lot of cutting and grining on the frame, fenders etc.

But like I said anything is possible, but you will need to get rid of your stock suspension, move to a full coilover setup ( BC, KW, Megan) or air ride setup. Hope this helps you out.

 

19s looks so awesome on 19s neon makes me want some 19s on my sxt but to be safe and I dont want to do the work 18s look just as nice with some coilovers probably cheaper for a 18inch wheel and tire package than 19s.
