Default 2001 Dodge Neon

This is my daughters car and it runs great for about 30 minutes and then it just cuts off if you wait about 15 minutes it will start back up and run for about 10 to 15 minutes then cut off again. I hooked the scanner up to it and there are no codes. Anybody got any ideas.

Fuel problem?

Do you have good flow through the exhaust?

Is it running rough when it does run, or is it smooth and just cuts out/dies?

Any strange noises or rattles?

It won't restart after it "cuts out" until you wait 15 mins?

Sounds like a fuel problem. Like a clog (filter), or a bad fuel pump. Might also be a clogged CAT, but I think the symptoms are a little different.

Very weird with no codes.

Fuel is good, with good fuel pressure.
Ran smooth the few times it ran.
The autoshutdown relay is energizing.
Ive replaced the cam position sensor and the crankshaft position sensor.
I only other thing I can think of is the Engine Computer.
Does ANBODY HAVE ANY OTHER IDEAS!

about a 90% chances it's a bad crank sensor. I've read about a lot of failures doing exactly what you say and it's coming up as crank sensor. if you unplug it, and there's oil in the connector, replace the sensor. the sensor is located on the back of the engine near the oil filter I believe.
