I was pulling my car into an underground garage the other night. The ramp is pretty steep. Anyways, i was waiting for someone to open the garage from ththe inside, so my car sat on a decline for awhile. I put it in P because I felt the pressure on the brakes.

Anyways, i get a call about 3 minutes later. I was at the wrong door. I had to reverse off this steep decline ramp, aand when I put it in reverse I heard a big crack. I dont know iif it was a rough sshift or what, but I didn't like the noise. Should I be worried?

what's the best way to sit on a decline. Was kicking it in P stupid?
