Default looking to buy SRT-4 hood!

I'm looking to buy a black coated SRT-4 hood to put on my SXT.
I'm not trying to pretend like my car is an SRT-4, (wish it was), i just like the hood because of the scoop. A junk yard offered me $98 + tax, and I was just wondering if anyone could beat that price. My car is a 2004 Dodge Neon SXT SOHC - manual, completely stock engine. All offers are much appreciated!

Your best bet is either the junk yard or craigslist. Buying one from a DodgeForum member then having them ship it would be much more than $98.

Besides, $98 isn't bad at all.

You're going to have a sunroof installed? I mean, I love mine, but I wouldn't shell out that kind of cash for one, not to mention not having my car for a week while someone uses a hacksaw to cut a hole in my roof.

Yeah I would love a sunroof but only if mine came with one lucky for me my 2nd ride which is a turbo has a sunroof. 98bucks is a steal for a srt4 hood lookin for a cbd air induction srt4 hood for my sxt. Cant wait to see it on.

I forget, does the SRT hood fit the 00-02? I know it bolts right up, but I've heard there is a little gap between the lights.

i did some research and from what i found, there is a gap.
supposedly its an extra half inch space between your bumper and hood.
i can live with that gap, because not only will having an srt4 hood look
cleaner and nicer, but it will also replace the dented up hood i currently
have.. and technically there's already a quarter inch sized gap ive noticed
on stock hood and bumpers, and i never noticed it before, so i doubt the
srt4 hood's gap will bother me too much :]

I love the srt4 stock hoods if I found one cheap I would get it but holding out for a cf cbd air induction hood and cf pvo molded trunk. Gap doesnt bother me either seeing I have a flip flop hood which has gaps already.
