Please Help!! AEM CAI Is Vibrating (I think)
Guys I'm having a serious problem with my new AEM CIA. Now that I think about it, I remember reading something about it vibrating. I guess it's happening to me now. It was fine yesterday (Day 1) but today it started sounding like a f*ckin cruiseliner leaving the dock. Sometimes its bad, sometimes it isn't that bad. It sounds like a tuba (The Sound) when I'm going 10 or 15 mph and under when I'm not accelerating. Or If I rev it up. Please tell me there is a way to fix this! It's embarasing, everyone is looking at my car. It's loud. [>:]
Should I go to the Dodge Dealership to fix this? Please tell me what I should tell the person who is going to fix it to do. Do I have to put some padding in there or what? Where exactly is it vibrating at?

EVERY CAI ive ever put on my car never sounded bad and the vibrating might not even be you intake at all a lot of it can come from you exhaust pipes and other stuff my car used to be a rattle trap till i dynomatted it and eventually all cars rattle as pieces loosen so dont count all of it coming from your CAI..... but if you havent removed your battery and made room uner your hood then its bound to hit something. Go through and listen for all vibrations and see if your CAI moves as well. COuld be time to change out certain pieces parts too if idling ruff or engine moves too much. Such as mounts or spark plugs, etc. And if it sounds like that when you romp on it it can make that loud sound too im guessing its only natural cuz every civic around here sounds like an ocean barge horn but mostly in the SOHC.
