Found a REALLY sweet deal on another '00 ES (base model) today,will be having a trusted mechanic friend give it a good once over this week,decide if I want to pay a deposit on it till tax refund time. Anyways,I was really kinda wanting a 5 speed,but if it checks out,it's too good a deal to pass up. Assuming I buy it,and can source a donor car (complete),what's involved/how big a job would this be?

Also,not counting a donor car and any labor,I should have a $1,200-1,500 budget after buying it,and am wanting a used set of 17's,and an SXT factory wing (if I can find one),any suggestions for bolt ons? Exhaust maybe,cold air,chip?

For an exhaust theres the magnaflow or stock srt exhaust and for an intake theres ebay or k&n or aem. No chips they really dont do anything for 4 cylinder cars.

 

Well,looks like I lost out on that car,owner of the lot decided to give it to his daughter for her first car,LOL! The wife has decided to keep hers too (see my avatar),and I found a deal on a (gasp) Chevy S10 I couldn't pass up...so,I'll slip a few parts under the wife's hood when she ain't looking,teeheehee
