Make the dealer fix it if its still under warranty. I had a problem with my speedo as well and I made them fix it.

I wounder If I could buy a gauge cluster from an SXT or mayby SRT-4 because this is rediculus. I don't even have a tach on my SE.

Yeah, you should be able to. I've heard the speed doesn't read right if you get the SRT4 one...its off I guess. So i've heard, but I've also read that it works perfectly fine. But either way BDM...you should be able to get an SXT cluster or SRT and it should just be plug and play, meaning you don't have to do anything other then just get a cluster with a tach and plug it in.

Sweet, I just hope it doesn't cost $100 or more.

Actually it will cost between 300 and 400.... Sorry

But i know for a fact that the speedo cluster from at least 2001-present are ALL interchangable with the exception of the SRT-4 cluster.. To use that one you will have to change you speed sensor.

But don't feel bad.. Even though my needles move.. I wish I could stop it from floating when not in motion. My speed needle randomly floats to 10mph +/- when my cars not in motion.. Talk about looking fast sitting still... But it don't bother me

hey there, are you absolutly positive its just your gauge thats not working? I had a Celica and my speedo went on the ****z, but my odometer did too, which meant it was the cable that actually read from the tranny. I couldnt find the damn thing though, my pops and I spent like 2 hrs under there one day. but yeah if its just the gauge, I hope everything goes down silky smooth
