Default 04 neon fuse issue

last week i left my headlights on overnight, and my battery died. between not having a chance to jump it and not having to go anywhere, we gave it a shot today. lights, radio, horn, wipers all worked, but the ignition wouldnt turn.. wasnt even clicking.
triple a came, and all he could figure out was that there was a fuse that was out, but couldnt figure out which one it was.

ive seen several instances of this happening across the internet, but i really cant find anyone with an actual solution to this.

Test fuses until you find the bad one?

Sounds like the ASD/FP fuse. It's in the underhood fusebox (fuse #21). There's a chart on the inside of the lid that shows you where it is. Hope this helps.

Yes like icon said its under the hood and the chart helps out big time to where every fuse is . Had that happen to my sxt yrs ago. Changed the fuse and problem solved.

Also, if you've ever had the front end fixed from an accident, or got it used as a "front-end salvage" like mine, check for pinched wires. Especially by the bottom-front of the tranny. There are 4 fat wire looms there that go into the PCM that are very vulnerable to front end collisions and may be easily overlooked (like mine was, till I found it ). All are easily seen from under the car, just behind the bumper on the driver's side.
I had a pinch that was shorting out my alternator, which is directly wired to the ASD relay, which, when triggered, blows fuse 21.
Hope you get it figured out because there aren't many things that would blow that fuse that wouldn't throw an error code.
